दीमक Termite management can be done by spraying Imidacloprid 17.8% SL over sugarcane setts पोरी in furrow and then covering with soil,OR, by soil drench application of 500 ml Chlorpyrifos 50% EC in 600 litres of water for one acre sugarcane field. Isogashi and Hibiki both manage Pyrilla also. Apply 10 kg granules of Fipronil 0.3 G before the setts are covered with soil by planking to prevent attack of Early shoot borer अगेती तना छेदक and Root borer जड़ बेधक insect pests. Top borer of stem of sugarcane चोटी बेधक or अग्रिम तना छेदक can be managed by applying 10 kg Cartap Hydrochloride 4% GR. एफिड aphid माहू can be controlled by spraying Thiamethoxam 25 % WG @ 80 gm in 200 litre water for acre
